# Game On! Learn to facilitate in two days

## You lead meetings. But do people actually work together in them?

You know how it goes. A meeting where the same three people do all the talking. A workshop that ends with post-its nobody ever looks at again. A discussion where the resistance is palpable, but nobody voices it.

It is rarely the fault of the people. It is about how the conversation is set up.

## That is why there is Game On!

Two days in which you learn to facilitate by doing it yourself. No theory on slides, but playing, practising and immediately applying it to situations from your own work.

The training is based on *Game On!*, the book I wrote together with Karl Mortier. You will learn to set up conversations, meetings and workshops in such a way that people want to participate, and that results in something the group supports.

## What you can expect

### Day 1: the facilitator in you (Monday 12 April 2027)

- getting people to participate and keeping them engaged;
- working with whatever arises in the group;
- dealing with resistance;
- creating a safe and stimulating atmosphere;
- active listening, feedback, framing conflicts and deciding together.

### Day 2: formats that work (Tuesday 13 April 2027)

- choosing the right format for what you want to achieve;
- guiding formats and harvesting the results;
- using time smartly;
- preparing, opening, facilitating and closing a session yourself, with feedback from the group.

- techniques you can use the very next day;
- a well-stocked toolbox of formats and games;
- more calm and confidence in front of a group;
- a first session of your own that you have designed and guided.
