# Ask your AI for lessons, not for excuses

This summer I came back from a trip, and the Monday after I had to give a training session. During my holiday I had not really kept up with my emails. Had the confirmation come in or not? I asked my AI assistant. It searched and said it had found nothing. I was already standing at the client's door by then, and I started to sweat.

## Two assistants, one question

It just could not be that there was no confirmation. So I asked exactly the same question to a second assistant, a different model. It found the email within seconds. It was simply there.

That is the first lesson, and it is simple. For something that matters, do not blindly trust one model. A second model with the same question is a quick check, and the difference between the two answers often tells you more than each answer separately.

But the most interesting part came after that, when I went back to the first assistant.
