# Worksheet, what your own morning newsletter needs to know

You are subscribed to a whole series of newsletters because you want to keep up with your field. And every morning they slide into your inbox, one after the other. You do not actually read most of them. In the article about your own morning newsletter, you build a workflow that searches the news for you every day. Building it goes smoothly, because the assistant in n8n does most of the work. The question that requires the most thinking is what you actually want to read. With a topic like 'AI', I think you will mostly get the stories you already saw in your other newsletters. This worksheet helps you to get that clear, in about ten minutes. You end up with a list of sources and a completed instruction for your agent.

## Three questions before you start

Take a piece of paper or an empty document. Answer these three questions, each in a few words.

1. Which newsletters have you left unread in recent weeks? They tell you what you actually want to keep up with, and also what you currently have no time for.
2. What do you want to know on a Monday morning to do your work better? Make it narrow. 'News about AI' is broad. 'New rules and tools around AI for accountants in Belgium' gives your agent something to choose from.
3. What do you do with the news? Do you forward it to your team, do you write a post about it, or do you just want to be in the loop? That determines what your email looks like.

You might already notice it with question two. The narrower your topic gets, the less your agent has to guess. There is a little irony in this exercise, by the way. You are building a newsletter so that you can cancel a whole series of them. Below you will find the complete worksheet in five steps, with a template for your agent's instruction and a prompt that fills in the worksheet together with you.
