Prompt pack, meeting minutes that lead to action
You have probably had AI write meeting minutes for you before. It looks neat with headings and bullet points, and it is ready before you have finished your coffee. And yet, it often stays quiet afterwards. Nobody really knows who was supposed to do what. And at the next meeting, the same discussion simply starts all over again. So the minutes were written in half a minute, and everyone then waits three weeks for each other. Usually, only one thing is actually missing: a name or a date.
This prompt pack helps you close that loop. It starts at the last minutes of your meeting and runs until the first minutes of the next one. There are five prompts, and they follow the five elements from the article: decisions, actions, timeline, owner and communication. In my training sessions, this is called BATEC. It takes you fifteen minutes, and they work in Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
What you get
You get the first prompt right here. You use it on minutes you wrote yourself or that AI made for you. It does not add anything itself and only looks for the gaps. It then asks you about those.
Prompt 1: checking the minutes
Here are the minutes of a meeting: [paste the minutes]. Put it next to these five elements: decisions, actions, timeline, owner and communication. Say for each element what is right and what is missing. Point out every decision that is actually still a proposal or an idea. Point out every action that has no name, more than one name or no date. Do not fill in any names or dates yourself. Then ask me your questions, one at a time, so I can complete the minutes.I would send that prompt before you share minutes that AI wrote for you. A model sometimes turns something that was still an idea into a decision. And you only notice that when someone starts executing it. Below are four more prompts, for the last minutes of your meeting and for everything that comes after. Register for free and you will have them immediately.
